An Exceptional Immersion in Southern Vineyards: Maison Castel Welcomes Amber
From May 19th to 23rd, 2025, Maison Castel had the pleasure of hosting its client and importer Amber as part of the exclusive Club Maison Castel. Designed as a sensory and human journey through the iconic terroirs of Southern France, the five-day experience was filled with discovery, connection, and the expression of Maison Castel’s values and know-how. Between encounters, tastings, and breathtaking landscapes, Amber was invited to live the Maison Castel story from the inside — true to our ethos: crafted to share.
Day 1 – From Marseille to Béziers: a gentle introduction
The journey began in the late afternoon upon arrival at Marseille airport. The stay started directly at Maison Tarbouriech, a unique setting nestled between vineyards and lagoon. Upon arrival, guests enjoyed a Maison Castel-themed dinner, thoughtfully designed as a refined introduction to the brand’s universe. It was a warm welcome that set the tone: crafted to share, from the very first moment. The atmosphere offered a perfect invitation to unwind: calm, elegance, and hospitality shaped the start of a meaningful experience.
Day 2 – Béziers: at the heart of our craft
The next morning began with a visit to our production site in Béziers. A key moment to explore behind the scenes of the brand, from vine to glass. Our management teams, oenologists, and brand managers shared their passion, expertise, and commitment to excellence in winemaking. The open exchange and shared vision reminded everyone that our wines are not just made — they are crafted to share.
In the afternoon, guests enjoyed a boat ride to discover the distinctive oyster farming of the Tarbouriech family. This unique blend of sea and vine was followed by a tasting session led by Cédric Jenin, Maison Castel's winemaker. Terroir came alive in this dialogue — a delicious moment of harmony, once again crafted to share.
The day concluded with an exceptional dinner at the Michelin-starred De Lauzun, where Cédric Jenin joined the group in a refined, welcoming setting that highlighted the region’s finest expressions through a thoughtful Séries Limitées wine pairing.
Day 3 – Terrasses du Larzac: limited edition terroir
The journey continued inland to the rugged terroir of Terrasses du Larzac. Amber met Julien Puccini, winemaker at Domaine de l’Eglisette, a partner of the Maison Castel Limited Series. A vineyard tour, passionate conversations, and a tasting session made for a rich and authentic morning. The Série Limitée Terrasse du Larzac crafted and tasted here is the purest form of Maison Castel’s promise: exceptional cuvée, crafted to share with those who appreciate true character.
A countryside lunch among the vines followed, offering a relaxed and generous taste of Southern living. Later, the group traveled to their next stop : the prestigious Gigondas appellation.
Day 4 – Gigondas: excellence in the mountains
In this spectacular setting, the day began with a breakfast among the vineyards, facing the iconic Dentelles de Montmirail. It was a peaceful and inspiring moment before meeting Jean-Pierre Valade, winemaker at Château La Croix des Pins, another key partner in the Séries Limitées wines.
This highlight of the trip included a blending workshop, an engaging hands-on experience that revealed the true art of the winemaker — a process that mirrors our philosophy: from vineyard to cellar, every detail is crafted to share. A tasting session followed, showcasing the depth and elegance of Gigondas wines.
After lunch at the estate, the group headed to Marseille for their final night.
Day 5 – Departure: not goodbye, but see you again
On the morning of May 23rd, the group returned to the airport with a heart full of memories. Enriched by new friendships and unforgettable moments, Amber left Southern France with the promise of continued partnership and a shared future with Maison Castel.
